Bruce Cousins, AIA, founded Sword Inc., a lean, continuous improvement and design management firm offering consulting services, in 2014. Previously, he was Regional Continuous Improvement (BIM/Lean) Director for Turner Construction for Northern California Prior to this he was National VDC/BIM Manager with Weitz Construction, and owner of a full-service architectural firm for over 35 years. An early adopter and advocate of Building Information Modeling, Lean and systems thinking, he received his Bachelor's in Urban Studies from the University of Denver and Master Architecture degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a Registered Architect in Colorado. He shares Lean processes in design management.
