Throughout this book we have claimed that it is possible to produce lightweight plans that enable projects to be effectively managed without the need for excessive detail. In this appendix, we provide some examples to demonstrate how this can be done.

These examples are presented with some trepidation because they are not intended to be held up as examples of perfect project plans; there is no such thing as a perfect plan, and even if there were, it would be foolish to strive for it. You should instead aim for something that is practical and workable and that meets your needs. Our intention with these examples is to provide you with some ideas and experience of what lightweight iterative project plans look like.
