What happens when three people – each specialists in their own, overlapping subjects – write a book together? The answer is a lot of learning. We set out to write something that would improve understanding and practice of knowledge management (KM) in projects, and ended up improving our own understanding of how KM, project management and PMOs fit together. We wanted to make a difference to other people and in the process made a difference to ourselves.
