Lean and Project Management Processes

Projects have a greater likelihood of success if project management (PM) tools, disciplines, concepts, and principles are applied; they have a lesser chance of success without PM. To leverage the gains from applying PM requires taking a structured rather than haphazard approach. The way to do that is to apply PM processes.

5.1 Key Concepts

Before discussing the PM processes, however, it is important to set the stage with some concepts that should be considered before any process is implemented.
