You can probably easily imagine the kinds of tools that deal with availability, but let’s just take a few minutes to clarify what we really want to accomplish regarding availability. You know about the reactive tools that should provide timely alerts to the occurrence of an outage, and, in contrast, the proactive tools that try to perform intelligent analysis and actions that help avoid such problems from occurring. Let’s summarize a few key areas of concern and then look at the appropriate tools for use with Fusion Applications.
