IT TAKES A STRATEGY AND A TEAM

Just as we need a strategy for the Product Management organization (to avoid having to reinvent the wheel), we also need a product manager staffing strategy. Similarly, just as any generic strategy would be methodically formulated, so should a strategy be formulated to construct and sustain the product manager population. This methodology is extremely important because it should be used consistently as the organization matures, and it should be utilized as leaders periodically take the pulse of Product Management.
