6 CARRY OUT STAKEHOLDER ANALYSIS

One of the most important tasks of a project manager is to manage the stakeholders’ expectations and to communicate with transparency about project status, risks, issues and decisions. Your project will touch the working lives of many staff. These are your stakeholders. You will quickly identify some of the groups affected, but there are probably others who have an equal influence over the success of the project, and it could take a while to uncover all these groups. Stakeholder analysis is a tool that helps identify all the relevant parties and map their interest and influence over the project.
