Complexity is a vast topic. You could read yourself into oblivion. I didn't read all the available books, simply because I didn't have time. Here are the books I cited in Managing Software for Growth, and others that I read but didn't reference directly.

W. Brian Arthur , Increasing Returns and Path Dependence in the Economy, The University of Michigan Press, 1994.As Waldrop said in Complexity, Arthur writes economics in more or less plain English. You can tell when you read his papers. This book is a collection of his more influential ones.
