Accountability and top performing teams

We started in Chapter 1 at addressing the question of ‘What is a Team?’ and we came up with four defining qualities which teams had. Indeed, by virtue of having these qualities we create what we think of as a top performing team, as opposed to simply a group of people calling themselves a ‘team’. Throughout our investigation we have attempted, unusually, to keep our focus wherever possible on the topic of motivation and it might be a key component of each of these four qualities.
