9. Service Flows

To understand the value web that is the shared enterprise, we need to pay as much attention to the value flows between services as to the services themselves. Value creation takes place inside a service, whereas value flow bridges the gaps between services. As we’ll see later, each flow consists of its own mix of products and other types of assets and resources, to be exchanged in various ways between the respective services.
