It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Taken as a whole, then, this collection of terms provides the logical data dictionary
associated with the general framework. The aim is to provide these details in order to
qualify fully the contents of the hierarchy introduced by this guide – if a picture speaks
a thousand words, then examples are equally useful when discussing capital markets data.
These objectives should be clearly noted. This dictionary is not intended to define
any single physical implementation or data source. Rather, it provides a general guide-
line to better understanding the content produced by the global capital markets.
