Anki: From Classmates to a Company

Mark Palatucci, a cofounder and the chief product officer for Anki, was a member of the winning team of the 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge, which races robots at high speeds across the desert without human intervention. Mark pursued this interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics in a PhD program at the Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute.
