MASTER PLANNING AND SCHEDULING POLICY INCLUDING SUBPOLICIES (AN EXAMPLE)
- Purpose
- 1.1 To establish master planning and scheduling (MPS), rough cut capacity planning (RCCP), monthly disaggregation of request for supply (RFS) to plant build quantities, monthly aggregation of build schedule (plant production schedule to plant master schedule and plant master schedule to master planning RFS), and key performance indicators (KPIs) rules and best practices and ensure that the master planning and scheduling process is aligned, synchronized, and integrated with overall company supply objectives as well as maintaining Class A status.
- Scope
- 2.1 This policy applies to all master planning and scheduling processes and practices for all company locations (corporate and plants).
