Change Fonts or Font Size

You can change the font and font size in your workbook. By default, each workbook that you create in Excel 2010 uses a sans serif font called Calibri and the size is set at 11 points. You can select from a wide variety of serif and sans serif fonts that are TrueType fonts and will print as they appear on-screen. Serif fonts contain short lines stemming from the tops and bottoms of the letters, while sans serif fonts do not contain these short lines.

You can change the font and font size for a single cell or selected cells or for an entire worksheet. As you make changes, Excel shows you a preview of the way information in the cells you select will appear.
