An Introduction to Excel

Excel is a spreadsheet program that you can use to work with and manipulate numerical data. With Excel, you can perform calculations, analyze data, and present information. Excel can help you manage your business and personal finances, and calculate what-ifs and scenarios.

An Excel file, or workbook, contains a collection of worksheets that store and keep related data together. The worksheet is a grid of columns and rows, and you type data into a cell — the intersection of a column and row.
