In the previous chapters of this section of the book, we focused on the practices involved in profiling the performance of our application, ensuring that we can take measurements that will allow us to correctly analyze the performance of the system, as well as how to undertake that analysis.

In this chapter, we will focus on practical ways in which you can improve the performance of your code.
