Chapter 10. Using the 3ds Max Camera

If you've ever taken a presentation drawing class, you've probably been shown the importance of carefully observing the subject of your drawing. It's important to be aware of the details of a scene or landscape that might otherwise go unnoticed. By recording those details in your sketches and preliminary drawings and then addressing them in your scenes, you create a sense of depth and realism.

When you create a scene in 3ds Max Design 2011, it helps to recall those lessons in observation, even though you may not be creating a scene from real life.
