One of the disadvantages of old-fashioned 2D CAD is its single-document workflow. If one of your team members is struggling to complete a set of drawings on time, there is little you can do to help.
As a CAD manager, Inventor gives a huge advantage when you are up against a time crunch. You can break the work up among the team with modeling, assembling, and drawing running (almost!) concurrently.
