Documenting Your Project
As you've experienced so far, Autodesk Navisworks affords you the opportunity to display information in a variety of ways, from 3D model perspectives to orthographic plan views and sections. In each of these cases, the same model is driving these distinct views. In the VDC processes you will occasionally need to embellish these views with user-defined data such as dimensions and redline markups. Furthermore, you may need to translate objects to align to a common origin. This section will further refine your skills with the Measure and Redline tools and help you understand when to use them with the model documentation process.
