4D Sequencing with TimeLiner
Up to this point, you've explored the basic features and functionalities within Autodesk Navisworks. This chapter will draw on those concepts and introduce one of the major workflows: creating 4D sequences with the TimeLiner module. Using the TimeLiner feature, you'll better understand the construction sequence of your design. Furthermore, being able to virtually construct your design allows you to identify any potential scheduling conflicts before materials are delivered to the site, thus avoiding costly changes. In addition, the 4D model can be used to create and manage a dynamic construction site safety plan.
