Using the Measure Tools
When you're working with 3D models in general, annotations, callouts, and other details are often limited to the 2D sheet views and thus not easily referenced in the model view. One way to reference these details is by using the Project Browser. This tool allows you to leverage and incorporate these details and easily switch between the 2D and 3D viewpoints when reviewing the model. The Measure tools in Navisworks provide a plethora of functions, including ways to dimension model objects and calculate area as well as transform objects in your scene.
