Final Design Project: School of Fashion Design
Students often ask us how to design in Revit. We don't believe there is a single, definitive answer or approach to this question. Rather, a more pertinent question is How can I use Revit as a design communication tool? We believe this because design is an iterative process; it does not conform to a specific train of thought or a single application. Revit should be used as a tool to help resolve the challenges of the designer, but it is one of many tools that should be used to communicate. As a result, students are expected to use Revit for its strengths and to learn how best to use it as part of an overall process.
