This appendix contains the full text of William Reynish's paper on the evolution of Blender's interface, delivered as a presentation at the 2008 Blender Conference, and made available for download in November 2008 from the official www.blender.org website. The document was written in preparation for the 2.5 event system recode, which is expected to result in many changes to the interface. This paper represents a significant step toward establishing what direction the changes should take.
