FROM THE MOMENT we saw the earliest of builds and heard what the Adobe engineering team had planned for Dreamweaver CS4, we knew this release would be amazing. Before we dive into CSS, let’s take a quick tour of the new features of Dreamweaver CS4, with a focus on those that most affect our work in the rest of the book.
Work, Work, Work
Probably the most obvious of the new features is the new interface. In the CS3 revision, Flash got a new interface and with CS4 it’s Dreamweaver’s turn at the cosmetic counter—and if you’re thinking that looks are only skin deep, you’re wrong. These enhancements make the overall work environment much more flexible, and in turn make you more productive.
