There are many pieces in the Hyper-V puzzle. We'll start by looking at how the basic components of Hyper-V fit together. Then we will move on to look at some of the features that were introduced with Windows Server 2008 R2 and then with Service Pack 1 for Windows Server 2008 R2.
We will look at the basics of creating virtual machines and picking and choosing their components. This will give us a good footing to move on to the host machine and then onto the newer features of Hyper-V.
