Management Options
Many people see Hyper-V as more than just virtualization. They see it is an ingredient to a new way of doing IT. Dynamic IT is the ability to provide a very flexible IT infrastructure that can quickly change to add resources and meet the demands of the business. That's what hardware virtualization is all about. Optimized infrastructure gives you the management systems to control all of this flexibility and rapid change. You're going to need management systems to look after your Hyper-V infrastructure, even if you do not buy into the concepts of dynamic IT and optimized infrastructure (yet).
