Trans-Pacific Partnership

If it passes in its current form, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) would reducee the cost of exporting, increase competitiveness of U.S. firms, and promote fairness. It would also reflect our values on issues including labor, the environment, and human rights. TPP would deliver for middle-class families, support jobs, and further our national security.

The agreement will eliminate tariffs, lower service barriers, and increase transparency while also increasing competitiveness by instituting stronger intellectual property rights protection and establishing enforceable labor and environmental obligations.
