Acknowledgments

I begin a string of acknowledgment with one whose story is known to very few. His pioneering work with leadership development over decades showed me what one highly focused and intentional individual can do to reduce and transform persistent institutional stupidity syndrome—the phenomenon of smart people in enterprise getting and staying stupid as an entire organizational entity, while also largely well intended, competent, and caring as individuals.
