You won't normally run IPFire in a virtual machine. Instead, you'll install it on a physical machine that has at least two network interfaces. But, just for the sake of letting you see what it looks like, setting it up in a virtual machine will do for now. Let's get started:
- Create a virtual machine with two network interfaces. Set one to Bridged mode and leave the other in NAT mode. Install IPFire into this virtual machine. During the setup portion, select the Bridged adapter as the Green interface and select the NAT adapter as the Red interface.
