Deploying and configuring a Mesos cluster using Chef
Chef is both the name of a company and the name of a configuration management tool written in Ruby and Erlang. It uses a pure Ruby domain-specific language (DSL) to write system configuration "recipes". This module will explain how to install and configure the Apache Mesos master and slave using the Chef cookbook. Chef is a configuration management tool to automate large-scale server and software application deployments. We will assume that the reader is already familiar with Chef.
