There are several grid controls available in Dynamics 365. The default control is the read-only grid control. This is essentially the normal way we see the records in Dynamics 365 views where the grid is read only and cannot be edited.
With the introduction of the Unified Interface in Dynamics 365, it has increasingly become a requirement to have interactive views for the user. We could use custom web resources to get the desired result for the controls we need. But, instead of doing that, Microsoft has given us a simple solution by giving us access to some controls that can be used to enhance and give useful information to the user using the CRM platform.
