Chapter 13. Installing Exchange Server 2010
People who install Exchange Server 2010 fall into two camps. The first—and probably most fall into this camp—are those who simply run the Setup program with no command-line options and choose the default roles. The second camp consists of those who want to install specific Exchange Server roles on different servers and who may need the command-line options to successfully install those servers.
Regardless of which camp you fall into, getting the prerequisites out of the way first will ensure a smooth installation. Further, knowing your setup options will help to make sure you get everything right the first time.
