A major aspect of programming with VB 2010 is the knowledge of the .NET Framework. The vast majority of the functionality of any language in Visual Studio is the Framework, which is a massive collection of classes that address most of the common programming tasks, from handling dates to encryption and retrieving data from a remote web server.
