Upgrading Firewalls and Panorama
Just like any other operating system, bugs are sometimes found in PAN-OS, which could cause all kinds of issues. These bugs need to be fixed, and so update packages, called maintenance releases, that customers can install to improve the resilience and stability of their systems are made available.
