Managing Your Needs

Managing your needs will benefit not only you but also everyone around you. When you have a sense of accomplishment, you immediately feel good about yourself and the people with whom you engage. However, you have to consider both your professional and social needs so that you are not always trying to do everything yourself. Otherwise you may find yourself in a rat race trying to win, and “even if you win the rat race, you’re still a rat.”1 If you do not care for yourself, who else will?
