Chapter 16. Disaster Recovery

No matter what kind of hardware you are using for your Configuration Manager sites, there is always the possibility that hardware or some other failure will bring a site down.

The only thing you can really do to prepare for something like this is to back up Configuration Manager the best you can so that your site will get back up and running as soon as possible.

Fortunately, Microsoft continues to provide the options that are present in earlier versions of Configuration Manager, and it provides a specialized set of backup and recovery options that you will need to recover your sites quickly.
