4.4. Installing and Configuring System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Release 2 (R2)
In addition to the extended support and integration that System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1 introduced, it also provided the plumbing to support the new roles and features included within Configuration Manager 2007 R2, which was released September 2008. Some of these features are integration from tools previously available in SMS 2003, while other features are integration points to bridge other System Center products and technologies.
