7.4. The Software Update Process in Configuration Manager
As you'll see throughout the hands-on portions of this chapter, the biggest parts of the software update process are planning and configuration. After those have been completed, there are three main operational phases that are performed by Configuration Manager itself: synchronization, scanning for compliance, and deployment.
