In this chapter, we’ll introduce you to the PowerShell scripting environment and explain how it relates to management of Operations Manager 2012. PowerShell is the command-line interface and scripting environment for virtually all new Microsoft Server products. So if you are an administrator of such a product, you’ve probably already used the PowerShell console. If not, then you must fill this gap quickly.
