Role-Based Administration

Ask a System Center Configuration Manager administrator about one of the more challenging aspects of administering ConfigMgr in their environment, and they might answer “Security!” The class and instance model that was used in SMS and ConfigMgr 2007 to assign users varying levels of access and privileges was somewhat cumbersome and confusing.
