System Center Framework introduced the concept of role-based security administration. Under the role-based access control (RBAC) model, administrators are able to use security roles and security scopes to define access to resources for the administrative users in the environment. System Center Configuration Manager adopts the RBAC security model and, as a result, greatly simplifies the administration of security in Configuration Manager.
