MARKET DEVELOPMENTS AND GLOBAL DRIVERS
In 2004, commodities market guru Jim Rogers wrote in his book Hot Commodities (published by Wiley, 2007, ISBN 978-0-470-51076-6) ‘that a new bull market is underway – and it is in commodities’. This market came to be known as the commodities ‘super-cycle’ and Rogers believes that these cycles typically last around 15 years, and by my reckoning we are just over halfway through.
