1.4. How to Use the Auto Bracketing System (Bracketing Explained)

The following assumes that you have Custom setting f4 – Assign Func. Button's setting called "Func. Button + dials" set to BKT – Auto bracketing. If you have changed this basic way to use auto-bracketing, you'll need to use your preferred method to turn bracketing on instead. The FUNC button is also known as the Fn button.

As shown in Figure 38A, choose the number of shots in the bracket by pressing and holding the function (Fn) button on the right front of the D300. Turn the Main command dial to select the number of shots in the bracket.
