Requirements are not really about requirements.
Requirements exist. As soon as you have any business activity, you have business needs. Requirements are a description of what your solution must do to satisfy those needs. This means that requirements exist whether you discover them or not and whether you write them down or not. However, for any solution to succeed, you, the business analyst, must discover all its requirements.
