Workshops
Workshops are one of the most commonly used trawling techniques. A workshop will typically involve you, the business analyst, and the right combination of specialized stakeholders, all of whom have an interest in the solution.
Workshops can cover any scope, but you will probably find that they are particularly helpful when you concentrate on one business use case. We discussed before how the business use case, the BUC, is the collection of functionality and data that respond to the business event. A workshop is particularly useful for the stakeholders to discuss what they want and need this BUC to be.
