So far, we have been talking about how to discover requirements. We have looked at a process and techniques that, when used well, make a difference to the effectiveness of your work. Now it is time to talk about another element; one that has a greater effect than any technique can hope to achieve: the people element.
Projects (at the time of writing) are staffed by people who discover the requirements and build the solutions. If the employing organization wants these people to do a good job, then it must align its values with the motivators of the people.
