Assessing Agility and Resiliency

This survey is designed as the basis for an AR assessment within your organization. One of the keys in building adaptive capacity is balancing attention between agility and resiliency at multiple levels—individual, team, organization, and ecosystem. Although many measures exist for agility and resiliency, we found that the following items can give an accurate snapshot of where you, your team, your organization, and your ecosystem are in terms of AR capacity. Many of the items have been empirically validated for assessing AR (AMA/HRI, 2006; McCann, Selsky, & Lee, 2009) whereas other items have long histories of use in change management research. We also plan to test them in additional research.
