Deploying Ubuntu in the Cloud
Up until now, in each chapter, we've been working with an instance of Ubuntu installed on either a local virtual machine, a physical computer or server, or even a Raspberry Pi. We've learned how to deploy Ubuntu on such devices, and we've even gone as far as deploying virtual machines as well as containers. These on-premises devices have served us well, but the concept of cloud computing has already become quite popular, even more so since the previous edition of this book.
