I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Wrapped text with Gradient
The banner of our Pause Panel has been looking a bit bare so far. Now that we’ve covered using TextMesh Pro-Text, we can create a nice curved text with a gradient that lines up well with our banner.
To create the curved text shown in the preceding screenshot, complete the following steps:
- If you have not done so already, download the TextMesh Pro asset for free on the Unity Asset store at https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/84126. Import all the provided files.
- Select the Pause Banner UI Image and give it a child TextMeshPro-Text object by right-clicking on it in the Hierarchy and selecting UI | TextMeshPro-Text ...
