Finding the Objects, Methods, and Properties You Need
In this chapter, you’ll learn how to find the objects you need in the applications you’re using. To learn the material in this chapter, you build on what you’ve learned in the earlier chapters. You’ll start by examining the concepts involved: what objects and collections are, what properties are, and what methods are. You’ll then learn how to find the objects, collections, properties, and methods you need to make your code work. To identify these items, you’ll use a number of tools you’ve already read about, including the Object Browser (which you used briefly in Chapter 4, “Creating Code from Scratch in the Visual Basic Editor”) and the Help files for VBA.
